Better Draft is read by screenwriters, film students, and the people who give them notes. We sell a small number of paid mentions on the blog and on the tools page. This page is the whole deal, so neither of us has to negotiate it over email.

What we sell

Payment is up front by invoice. The link carries rel="sponsored", which is what Google asks for and what we would do regardless. We do not sell links from the homepage, the pricing page, or any page that is part of the product.

What we will not do

Unlabeled links. Every paid mention says Sponsored next to it. No exceptions, no "editorial" tier.
Your copy. We write the sentence. You can tell us what the product does and which page to link; you cannot approve the wording. If you need to approve the wording, we are not the right site.
Claims we cannot check. We will not call a product the best, the fastest, or the industry standard unless we believe it.
Products that write the script. This site exists to argue that the writer writes. We will not place a ghostwriting tool, an "AI humanizer," an essay mill, or a contest with no public winners.
Refunds for ranking. We cannot promise what a link does for your search rankings, and we do not refund if it does less than you hoped.

Why the rules are strict

Writers trust a tools page exactly as far as its worst recommendation. One undisclosed link and the whole page reads like an ad. Labeling costs us a little conversion on your link and buys the credibility that makes the link worth anything in the first place. That trade is the product we are selling you.
