Filing a DMCA Notice
A valid DMCA notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material on our service that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail for us to locate it (URL strongly preferred).
- Your contact information (address, phone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Counter-Notices
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@betterdraft.io. Counter-notices must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, Better Draft will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice.
